Job Description:
As a School Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the daily operation of the school office, acting as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors
Handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and welcoming manner
Maintaining accurate records, including student data, attendance, and staff information, using the school’s management systems
Coordinating schedules, meetings, and events, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders
Supporting financial administration, including processing invoices and monitoring budgets
Assisting with HR tasks, such as maintaining staff records and supporting recruitment processes
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and other regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally in an educational setting
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and school-specific software (e.g., SIMS or similar)
Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in a school context
A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
