A leading FMCG Group is looking for a skilled Transfer Pricing Analyst to join their EMEA team based in London. This role involves supporting intercompany transactions for core businesses within the EMEA region, covering planning, monitoring, documentation, and defence of transfer pricing policies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in transfer pricing from a major professional services firm or a large multinational corporation's tax department and be comfortable working with various business teams and global tax function members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring transfer pricing policies, including:
o Planning: Partnering with businesses, supporting new launches and restructurings, creating new transfer pricing policies, financial modelling, and valuing business assets and workforce.
o Implementation and Control: Supporting the roll out of new transfer pricing policies, preparing and reviewing inter-company agreements, and monitoring outcomes against policies.
o Compliance: Contributing to and reviewing transfer pricing documentation, bench-marking, and regulatory filings.
o Defense: Assisting in preparing responses to transfer pricing audits, APA submissions, and managing audit responses.
The role also includes providing ad hoc support to stakeholders involved in planning, controversy, and compliance activities, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and collaborating with external advisors.
Team Overview: The transfer pricing team is a crucial part of the global tax function, working closely with business and tax stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Over 5 years of tax/transfer pricing experience
* Knowledge of international transfer pricing regulations
* Strong understanding of accounting and tax law
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to analyse data and make recommendations
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage projects independently
* Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills
