Who are Dartmouth Partners?
We're a private equity-backed, multi-award-winning recruitment company with a unique 'Classroom to Boardroom' business model. Our 'classroom to boardroom' business model is in full effect in the Early Careers team.
Since 2012, the Dartmouth Early Careers Team has established itself as a market leader in advisory recruitment at the junior level. The team provides bespoke solutions for clients searching for top talent at school leaver, intern, and graduate level. This includes building, designing, and project managing all aspects of talent acquisition programmes on behalf of our clients.
About the role
The Early Careers team is growing and looking for an ambitious, commercially minded individual to join their team.
Your role will focus on networking with junior candidates, understanding their key drivers and motivations, and becoming an expert in your market. You'll learn the recruitment lifecycle, perfecting your skills not just on day one but throughout your career with us in our market-leading training programme, the Kernel Academy.
The Early Careers team are experts across multiple industries including asset management, hedge funds, investment banks, and private equity, as well as supporting start-ups and corporates. Our team spans London and New York and is the biggest independent team at Dartmouth too.
In the role, you'll develop commercial, meaningful relationships with our client base and, in time, build a client network of your own through consultative business development.
What you'll bring
* A passion for a career in recruitment and desire to become a 360 consultant
* Confident ‘can-do’ attitude and strong work ethic
* Ability to think critically and create bespoke solutions to complex problems
* Commercial acumen and business-minded thinking
* Keen interest in being in a client-facing role
* Demonstrable experience in a people-facing role
* Bright, engaging, charismatic personality
What you'll get
* A high-performance environment where we take our work seriously but not ourselves
* Bespoke training from our in-house Performance & Development team
* Clear progression path from Associate to Managing Director
* Regular incentives such as lunch clubs and trips abroad
* Private healthcare, wellness and mental health support
* Friends in the office, regular team nights out and socials
With global offices across the Kernel network in London, Hong Kong, New York, and Charlotte, we can also offer international secondment and relocation opportunities. We have lots of examples of our business leaders across the globe who started their careers with us in another office!
We learn best when we're together and value collaboration and in-person interactions with candidates, clients, and each other. To reflect this, we promote (and enjoy!) working from the office; however, we also offer flexible arrangements and have the option to work from home one day a week.
Equal opportunities statement
At Dartmouth Partners, we know that high achievers come from all walks of life. Diversity is important to us and we are committed to providing equal opportunities for all of our candidates.
