Salary: Grade 4, £18,647 - £19,551 per annum. £12.85 - £13.47 per hour
32.5 hours per week, term time plus one extra week working 39 weeks per year.

Candidates must have GCSE English and Maths, Grade C or equivalent relevant qualification and NVQ level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or minimum 12 months experience working with children. Proof must be provided.

Landgate School
Landgate is a school for learners aged 4-19 with Autism and/or communication and interaction conditions. We are a small school with huge impact, dedicated to improving outcomes for learners and their families in the Wigan borough and beyond. The Role
Please note if you are applying for this role you must have English and Maths, Grade C or above or an equivalent relevant qualification in Numeracy and Literacy. Proof will need to be provided.
We are in an exciting position and looking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and resilient Level 2 Teaching Assistants (numerous posts). The successful candidates will have evidence of outstanding classroom practice and be able to develop positive relationships, inspire and motivate, engage and challenge learners to achieve.
Candidates should be willing to operate as part of the staff team supporting the learning, wellbeing and personal development of all learners under the direction of Senior Leaders, Teaching and Pastoral staff. Successful candidates may be expected to work in any phase across school, although it is not essential that they have prior experience of each phase. They will be expected to work with learners within the general classroom setting or by providing individual 1:1/small group support.
