Job Title Senior Business Analyst Location Glasgow Salary from £37142 plus benefits Flexible Working Pattern Help us create a better future, quicker The position of Senior Business Analyst is situated within the Customer Business SAP Centre of Excellence, reporting to the Change Management Manager. Focussed on providing expert support to the Customer Business SAP and Cloud Technology change and incident management processes, the Senior Business Analyst will govern the development of AI technologies across customer business operations to ensure effective and efficient change management with a continuous improvement approach. To ensure that the business solution performs effectively, the Senior Business Analyst will also provide expertise regarding SAP business processes to improve planning, incident and change processes, also conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all stipulated controls. What you’ll be doing Identifying issues through control reporting and analysis, producing change controls or incidents as necessary, the Senior Business Analyst will input business/technological expertise to inform decisions on solution requirements. Undertaking end-to-end project management responsibilities across the full project lifecycle for small projects, including required project governance and control. The Senior Business Analyst will be required to participate with Business and IT demand to identify and prioritise business requirements and develop business cases. Additional responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst will include: Provide direction to CoE staff and external Contractors/Consultants Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by fostering open communication and collaboration. Design, specification, test, and implementation of changes to business processes Definition and roll-out of standards and templates, maintaining suitable documentation Monitoring, analysing and optimising business processes and interfaces in close cooperation with the technology team. Support activities relating to internal and external audits to demonstrate IT controls in place for change request process Verifying and implementing recommendations in service reports in conjunction with the technology team What you’ll bring Utility Industry Expertise : Solid knowledge and experience within the utility industry, bringing valuable insights and understanding. Project Delivery Pro : Proven experience in project delivery, with agile delivery experience being a significant advantage. Business Analysis Savvy : Qualification and/or extensive experience in business analysis, ensuring thorough and effective analysis. Project Management Mastery : Qualification and/or experience in project management, demonstrating your ability to lead and manage projects successfully. Governance Guru: Experience in implementing and managing governance processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
