The Thanet Community Mental Health Team is searching for a dynamic Administrator to join their friendly team based in Ramsgate, Kent.
About the Opportunity:
This role offers you the chance to be part of a supportive team providing crucial support to a dedicated clinical team. You'll work alongside Consultant Psychiatrists, Community Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and other healthcare professionals.

1. Be the friendly voice answering phones and responding to enquiries.
2. Manage the Team's schedule, efficiently booking appointments.
3. Prepare and meticulously maintain clinical records and correspondence.
4. Assist clinical staff with administrative tasks like organising meetings.

Main duties of the job
The varied role of the Administrator will include:
9. Supporting the team to action work requests via the admin generic inbox, including the processing of referrals on the patient administration system (Rio)
10. Diary Management and booking clinic appointments.
11. Having contact with patients, carers, relatives, and other external stakeholders.
12. Typing letters and reports via BigHand (audio) and/or copy typing.
13. Using the patient record system RIO (training provided).
14. Taking and screening phone calls and managing the admin mailbox.
15. Organising and minuting meetings.
16. Ordering of stationery and other items as required via our SBS system (training provided).
17. Reception cover.

Job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent and will have strong customer service skills, a professional and confident telephone manner, and good organizational and keyboard skills. Some experience in clinical or document typing would be an advantage.
You will require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.
