Hourly rate: £12.00 rising to £14.00ph once fully trained

Hours/shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Saturday and Sunday mornings for 4 hours and up to 2 hours in the evenings. Actual shift times by mutual agreement Job share welcome
Summary
• I am a young woman in my thirties.
• I like to be independent but currently need a lot of support around my flat and with personal care including health care tasks due to several health issues after a rough couple of years.
• The job will involve helping with stoma care, tube feeding, medications, domestic tasks, accessing the community and most importantly helping me avoid hospital admissions.
Other Requirements
• "Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9."
• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.
• Must be English speaking
• Must have a UK driving license
All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check

Description
Typical duties
Domestic duties to help keep employers environment clean and tidy - to include
* Light housework- hoovering, washing up, put washing on.
* All rubbish and recycling out
*Help with cooking
* Help organise paperwork
* Check for out of date food.
* Putting out clinical waste once a week
* Making up hot water bottles
* Changing the bed
* Make up fresh St Mark’s solution daily
Personal Care:
* Prepare medication for JEJ tube
* Run me a bath & wash hair when needed
* Help me dress and tidy bathroom from bath
* Stoma care
* Set up and connect me to my feed St Mark’s solution.
* Looking for signs of low blood sugar and testing to see if I’m having a hypo, then administering medication if needed
Social:
* Help getting to appointments & being an advocate
* Collecting medications from pharmacy
* Accessing the community Sunday shift will include accompanying me to wheelchair basketball
