Wood Fold Primary School Green Lane Standish Wigan WN6 0TS Salary: Grade 3, 20,090 - 20,728 per annum. 12.45 - 12.84 per hour 37 hours per week, term time only, plus up to a max. of 10 days during school holidays Required for as soon as possible The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable Admin Assistant to work as part of the Admin Team. The successful candidate must have good time management skills, self-motivation, initiative and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be based in the busy school office and will provide administrative and organisational support within the school, with particular responsibility for: responding to general enquiries from staff, pupils, parents, visitors and stakeholders and to undertake reception duties as required by the Headteacher and School Business Manager; all aspects of pupil attendance and registration; administration of school meals, extra-curricular clubs and before and after school clubs; maintaining and updating manual and computerised records and Management Information Systems. The successful candidate must possess excellent ICT skills, particularly in word processing and excel. Experience of school specific IT software packages would be desirable, but training will be provided. The post is offered at G3 for 37 hours per week term-time only plus up to a maximum of 10 days during the holidays and for INSET days. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday: 8.15 am 4.15 pm and Friday from 8.15 am 3.45 pm.
