Senior UI Interactive Designer needed to join our team on a contract basis.
The opportunity:
We are looking for a visionary Senior UI Interactive Designer to join our cross-functional creative team, designing cutting-edge interfaces that elevate customer and brand experiences. This role requires a strong individual passionate about design, capable of conceptual thinking and executing online visual identities, incorporating interactive elements to create impactful websites.
What you'll be doing:
1. Designing user experiences from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity, pixel-perfect mock-ups.
2. Creating compelling and engaging web interfaces aligned with the brand's identity and aesthetic.
3. Developing digital brand look & feel, style guides, and pixel-perfect responsive interfaces for key clients, meeting both user and business needs.
4. Applying user-centred design best practices, interactive and accessibility principles.
5. Producing production-ready graphics and animations for websites.
6. Working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest technology, design trends, and tools.
8. Communicating design ideas and solutions to clients and team members, confidently defending design decisions.
9. Collaborating with stakeholders, designers, UX consultants, program managers, and developers, understanding business drivers.
What we want from you:
1. Demonstrated knowledge of the latest trends in experiential website design.
2. Excellent design skills and proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Proficiency in interactive tooling (Rive, Adobe After Effects, Protopie, Framer).
4. Animation and video experience (Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro).
5. Creative and meticulous, with a keen sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
6. Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.
7. Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and be accountable.
8. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
9. Ability to present concepts and design decisions.
10. Enthusiastic, self-confident, and self-motivated.
11. Adaptable, willing to take on new challenges, and driven to continually improve.
12. Passion for technology and web-based applications.
13. Experience in a digital/creative agency or in-house design studio.
14. Degree in Graphic/UI Design or a similar discipline.
15. Compelling portfolio showcasing highly experiential website designs.
16. Outstanding eye for design and typography.
