Telesales Engineer
Salary: Excellent basic + commission (OTE 55,000 - 60,000)
Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Our high-tech engineering industry client is on the lookout for a Telesales Engineer. This role involves being in the office for 5 days a week. The candidate will spend the majority of their time on the phone, engaging with customers to arrange demonstrations, contacting leads, developing sales, and ultimately closing deals. Additionally, the role will involve calling existing customers to promote other products.
As a Telesales Engineer, you will:
1. Develop and expand sales across the UK through direct and distributor-led channels.
2. Utilise your technical expertise to sell high-value engineering products.
3. Build enduring relationships with customers in sectors such as manufacturing, precision engineering, and measurement.
4. Identify upselling opportunities to increase product usage within existing accounts.
Requirements:
1. Experience in selling products (not services) within the manufacturing, precision engineering, electronics, or mechanical engineering sectors.
2. A proven track record in technical sales, with demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
