The school is now seeking an experienced and passionate Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team as soon as possible. Role Overview: As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work closely with the class teacher to assist in delivering lessons and providing support to individual students and small groups. You’ll play a key role in planning engaging lessons, managing the classroom, and ensuring all pupils make progress in line with their abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students and helping them succeed in their educational journey. Key Responsibilities: Assist class teachers in the delivery of lessons, ensuring that students remain engaged and progress effectively. Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, both in class and in separate sessions. Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Support students’ pastoral and emotional well-being. Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing resources and tracking student progress. Work with children who require additional support, delivering targeted interventions when needed. Foster strong communication with teachers, parents, and the wider school team.
