We are looking for an Experienced Handyman based in Aberdeen for a temporary contract.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical assistance to facility staff and carry out repair and maintenance work where appropriate.
2. Assist the Group Estate Manager and Operations Managers in the repair and maintenance of facilities.
3. Support the safe and efficient operation of facilities.
4. Ensure a duty of care to self, staff, and members of the public.
5. Work within our Health & Safety, COSHH, and risk assessment guidelines at all times.
6. Maintain a high level of conduct and appearance at all times.
7. Understand and display appropriate signage and undertake pre-work commencement checks as required when carrying out maintenance duties.
8. Carry out regular PAT testing as required.
9. Conduct planned preventative maintenance checks, such as monthly emergency lighting checks, safety checks, and general checks on operational equipment and fixtures and fittings, and report the findings to operational teams and the Group Estate Manager, recording the results in appropriate documentation where required.
