MID-SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Experiential knowledge and campaign experience are a must-have here. We are not looking for a designer with annual reports/business cards etc., but for beautiful execution and design crafting of shopper/retail/FMCG type campaigns. This will need to be seen in your folio.
3 days a week onsite in Berkshire-based offices.
Your experience will span across out-of-home activations and in-store experiences to innovative branding, digital/interactive, and marketing collateral.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Graphic design craft for our experiential campaigns and in-store activities for the FMCG and beauty sectors – covering design creation, scamp interpretation, layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and visualization.
2. Design generation for both print and online.
3. Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.
4. Having quality control over own work.
5. Following best practice with the design, artwork, and conceptual team.
6. Working with colleagues to deliver projects to deadlines.
7. Preparing accurate & production-ready artwork, including large format, for a variety of repro processes.
Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role and a degree-level professional qualification relevant to graphic design.
2. In-depth knowledge of, and able to evidence capability in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.
3. Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality.
4. Portfolio showcasing examples of work exhibiting strong design, creative, typography, color, and layout theory and application skills.
5. Excellent typographical, visual hierarchy, and layout skills.
6. Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Collaborative problem-solving working style within a team.
