What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to enhancing the life chances of children.
- High levels of enthusiasm and initiative.
Previous experience of working with SEND children and/or an understanding of child development. You will be a qualified graduate, or alternatively hold ‘A’ level or Level 3 NVQ equivalent qualifications in addition to GCSE English and Maths at grade A* - C (grade 9 – 4).

The role of Learning Mentor is required to provide support, nurture and guidance to all age ranges within school, by removing barriers to learning in order to promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, raise aspirations and allow all children to achieve their potential.
