What you can expect
Due to continued growth in the volume, value and complexity of consultancy work awarded, our UK Aberdeen office requires a Project Manager to work closely with the Sales and Project Delivery teams on various consultancy projects including but not limited to, Subsea engineering and design, Topsides, and Integrity Management. You will ensure that jobs are planned and executed efficiently and profitably throughout the project life cycle whilst maintaining the required levels of quality.
The role will involve working with engineers and staff at all levels and from other disciplines within the business on commercial client projects to keep all parties on schedule and on budget.
What you will bring
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Excellent communication skills in a technical environment.
* Leadership and customer collaboration skills.
* Well organized, with experience of working on and prioritizing between multiple projects of varying duration, complexity and value.
* Proactive individual who can quickly react to unexpected project developments and able to resolve problems.
* Considerable experience in a Project Management / Planning role in a fast-paced engineering consultancy environment.
* In-depth knowledge of project costings and tendering processes.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge and experience of working with an Operator and / or Service provider.
* Knowledge and experience in Pipeline systems / Asset Integrity Management business.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Project Management / Engineering subject.
* Experience in Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement programs.
What we offer
* The role is a full-time staff role (37.5 hours per week) and permanent. We will not be offering this role on a contractor basis.
* The role is based at our office in Aberdeen’s west end.
* Hybrid (1 day p/w at home if required) and flexible working available.
* Occasional UK and international travel may be required.
