Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Specialist Palliative Care Team within our Community Directorate Admin Services, in the role of a Band 3 Medical Secretary. You will be based at our Ty Cymorth Palliative Care site at Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen working 5 days per week, 9am to 5pm. Main duties of the job To provide a comprehensive clinical secretarial and administrative support to consultants and managerial staff. The post holder will work autonomously within defined parameters and with minimal daily supervision. The post holder will be required to perform typing/ word processing, audio typing. Maintain records both manually and on computerised system and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information i.e. diagnostic reports, clinical letters, post mortem reports and results.
