Job summary A fantastic opportunity has arisen for senior Reducing Restrictive Intervention Lead to work within the Nursing and Facilities Directorate over the next 12 months. The Lead position offers a great opportunity for a person whose core values are to place patients at the centre of all learning and ensure approaches to patient care and workforce development are trauma informed. The lead will undertake specialist investigations in the event of serious incidents in the context of RRI in accordance with PSIRF. Through this they will provide expert clinical practice and leadership for Reducing Restrictive Practices, which will involve the assessment and care planning for service users that have been subjected to Restraint, Rapid Tranquilization, Seclusion, Enhanced Observations and Blanket restrictions, working closely with people, their families and carers Main duties of the job The post holder will lead the implementation of the Trusts Reducing Restrictive Practice Strategy which includes leadership and management of the RRI consultants. In doing this the role will contribute to the development of trust wide policies and guidelines relating to the Reduction of Restrictive Practices, through the interpretation of national guidance and inquiry reports.
