The General Theatre team at The Conquest Hospital has an opportunity for a Band 6 Deputy Lead Practitioner.
We are looking for a positive role model with a good understanding of our trust values to enhance our team. Caring for both adult and paediatric patients within a modern progressive department comprising of 8 main theatres and 3 satellite areas specialising in General surgery, Orthopaedics, Breast surgery, ENT, Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
To be successful applicants will need to show evidence of effective communication skills, sound clinical skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. We are looking for good negotiators with organizational abilities and effective team leader skills. They must be able to demonstrate their ability to focus on efficient and evidence based clinical practice and promote excellent patient care.
Candidates must demonstrate enthusiasm and willingness towards innovation and progression within our field and be aware of national and local topics which influence the service we provide.
The successful candidate will also participate in managing and assisting in the running of the department and will be allocated personal roles and responsibilities to assist the Matron with the management of the rest of the team.

and effective service delivering safe patient care within an
environment that promotes a responsive approach to changing
healthcare needs.
