Are you passionate about making a difference in Military law? We have a rare part-time opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or Litigation Executive to join our growing Military Department. You’ll handle a mix of high-value personal injury claims, from PTSD to NFCI and bullying & harassment, while also having the opportunity to conduct your own advocacy and shape the future of this niche area.
The role:
* Manage a caseload of Military matters, including Employers’ Liability, Clinical Negligence, and complex injury claims
* Handle small, fast, and multi-track cases and draft all related legal documentation
* Prepare quantum assessments, review medical evidence, and brief Counsel
* Promote early rehabilitation and resolution of claims under the Serious Injury Guide
* Assist in marketing the Military team and building referral networks
* Prepare bundles, instruct experts, and advise clients on Part 36 offers
* Support the wider team’s success and growth through collaboration and innovation
Ideally, you’ll have: 2+ years PQE in Personal Injury, Military law experience is highly desirable, a strong interest in promoting the interests or cause of someone or a group, together with excellent client care, communication, and drafting skills. You’ll be well-organised, tech-savvy, and confident with CPR rules and procedures. A self-motivated individual with a proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
