Laser operator supervisor

Ideal Employment are currently recruiting for a Laser Operator Supervisor for a specialist manufacturing client in the heart of West Bromwich who are growing at an exceptional speed. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Laser Operator/Programmer to step into a supervisory position.

Duties of a laser operator supervisor
* Supervising a small team of upto 5-6 people
* Operating and programming laser machines as customers drawings and requests(Experience with amada is preffered but not essential)
* Working with raw meterials
* Production planning
* Booking in couriers and calling metal suppliers
* Reading from drawings
* Have worked and familiar with CAD designs
* Key holder
* Managing workflow
The right candidate

1. Experience with laser machines operating / programming
2. Worked with Amada machines is preferred but not essential
3. Have knowledge or worked in a production planning environment and can manage time efficiently
4. Worked in a manufacturing background previously
5. Must be willing to step into a supervisor role and have managed small teams previously
6. Be willing to be a key holder
