Laser Operator Role
A Laser Operator is responsible for operating laser cutting, engraving, and marking machines to create products from various materials. They must have strong mechanical and technical skills, as well as a good eye for detail, in order to accurately operate the machine and achieve the desired results.
Laser Operator Duties
* Set up and operate laser cutting, welding and engraving machines
* Monitor laser machines during operation
* Adjust laser speed and intensity to achieve the desired result
* Maintain and troubleshoot laser equipment
* Monitor the quality of parts produced
* Keep records of production and operation of the machines
Laser Operator Requirements
* Able to read technical drawings and blueprints
* Able to set up and operate laser cutting machines
* Able to check and measure the accuracy of components
* Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail
* Able to work to tight deadlines
Laser Operator Skills
* Ability to operate and maintain laser cutting machinery
* Familiarity with health and safety protocols
* Excellent problem solving and communication skills
