We are a vibrant Charity Community Swimming Club, providing water safety/swimming/physical activity sessions to local people. Seeking a Team of Fundraising Officers to write funding bids to ensure we continue with our mission. What difference will you make? Our mission is to provide free water safety and swimming for those facing barriers access swimming lessons and providing opportunities for local people to develop and follow a performance pathway if they wish. We also mentor our young people, providing opportunities for them to training free of charge as lifeguards and swimming instructors to improve employability and personal development. Your fundraising activities will help us thrive ad make our outreach long term and growth sustainable. What are we looking for? Experience in bid writing. Excellent verbal, written and communication skills. Excellent and proof reading your work, being thorough and have a eye for detail. Knowledge of computer operating systems; hardware and software. Excellent administration skills. Able to work to deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. What will you be doing? Formulate and implement an annual Fundraising strategy and share with the Finance Team and Board of Trustees. Researching local and national grants, identifying the most suitable for us. Build a positive relation with grantees and liaise with them when necessary. Prepare documents and collating all the relevant information and documents required to apply for grants. Write and submit funding applications within the deadline. Seek feedback from Funders with regards to unsuccessful bids to improve your delivery. Collaborate with the our Finance Team/Board on a regular basis. Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officers to provide information about the project they need to submit the M&E after the projects. Seek and enrol on free training/webinars to improve your skills and delivery for your continual development.
