We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer within our newly established, Green-Tec Brand.
Established in April 2024, Green-Tec aims to offers a comprehensive range of tree care and vegetation management solutions to meet the diverse needs of industries including road, pipeline, utilities and railroad infrastructure. From powerful chippers to efficient trommels and shredders, our range also includes dedicated tree care handlers and tracker mulchers equipped.

About the Role
5. Leading the Electrical development and documentation of design processes for products designed within the company.
6. Responsible for the accuracy and successful delivery of product design projects, for the product definition and design phases, concessions, and production permits.
7. Design, prototype, assess and review Electrical components and assemblies.
8. Provide support in product acceptance, testing and validation activities.
9. Prepare and participate in requirements and design review meetings.
10. Undertake analysis of Electrical components, assemblies, and systems, as well as manufacturing and assembly processes.
11. Oversee and participate in prototyping activities.
12. Support of the design, manufacturing and shop floor activity when required.
13. Provide technical support for the company's product range across manufacturing, development, and procurement.
14. Provide engineering support for component selection during the design and development phase, including the design and development of tests to verify performance.
15. Provide technical assistance to both external and internal customers, joining company representatives at customer sites as and when required.
16. Support the cross functional team in problem solving and troubleshooting.
17. Maintain a high level of technical knowledge coupled with ongoing professional development, for the joint benefit for the job holder and the business.
About you
Experience & Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
18. Degree educated or equivalent in Engineering, with Experience working in heavy equipment industry of 4+ years.
19. Experience in design of 12/24Vdc control systems including CAN bus, Modbus etc. networks
20. Experience in electrical control panel design e.g. Zuken E3 Series desired.
21. Knowledge of required standards EN60204, ISO12100 etc
22. Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunction.
23. Development of PLC Software (ideally in IQAN & CoDeSys 3.5).
24. Knowledge & understanding of Hydraulic systems – a bonus.
25. Independent and self-motivated individual.
26. Project management and analytical skills.
27. Presentation and interpersonal skills, fluent English both written and spoken.
28. Travel will be required, national and international.
