Job Description:
We’re looking for a Freelance Senior Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments and knows how to bring big ideas to life. You’ll lead the charge on delivering across a high-velocity commerce program—managing everything from strategy and creative concepts for key visuals to in-store and online touchpoint design, all the way through to final toolkit delivery.
On top of that, you’ll bring your expertise in agile workflows to drive the planning, execution, and delivery of impactful social channel projects. Working hand-in-hand with the Project Director, Business Director, and an incredible team, you’ll help shape work that doesn’t just meet expectations but exceeds them.
What you'll be doing:
1. Develop Scopes of work that clearly outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resources required.
2. Ensure alignment with client expectations and contractual agreements.
3. Ensure project teams understand project expectations, timelines, and deadlines.
4. Provide clear direction and support to team members, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
5. Manage the allocation of resources, co-ordinating with the resource teams to ensure the right people are assigned to the right tasks at the right time.
6. Monitor project progress and schedules closely, tracking milestones, tasks, and deadlines.
7. Proactively identify any deviations from the plan and take corrective action to keep projects on track.
8. Monitor project burn rates, estimate at completion (EAC), and financial reconciliation to ensure projects remain within budget constraints.
9. Analyse variances and take corrective actions as necessary.
10. Lead briefing meetings and creative reviews to ensure alignment between stakeholders and project teams.
11. Facilitate discussions, gather feedback, and drive decisions to move projects forward.
12. Communicate project status updates regularly to internal stakeholders and clients.
13. Provide transparency regarding project progress, issues, and risks and address any concerns on time.
