If so, wed love to hear from you About the Role As Support Services Manager at Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council, youll play a vital role in shaping how we serve our community. Youll lead our support services and administrative team and help drive excellence in governance, engagement, communication, and service delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role with real influenceperfect for someone who thrives on making systems work better, enjoys developing people, and is passionate about supporting local communities. Youll also act as Deputy Town Clerk when needed, offering a brilliant opportunity to grow and gain strategic insight into local government. What You'll Be Doing Leading the day-to-day operations of our support services Managing and developing a small team, creating a culture of high performance Supporting internal communications, technology use, publicity, and media Handling procurement processes and grant applications Promoting our work in the community and supporting our strategic goals Acting as a key point of contact for advice and information across departments About You A solid background in management Experience in leading teams and delivering high-quality service Strong IT and organisational skills A flair for communication and a proactive attitude A commitment to confidentiality, equality, and continuous improvement Knowledge of local government, experience in the public sector, and a familiarity with Bletchley and Fenny Stratford are a bonusbut not essential.
