Description
We are looking for a Team Leader to manage a series of products across our Insight and Performance Data portfolio – reporting into the Divisional Sales Director you will be responsible for delivering targets against an established portfolio of digital products.
The Team Leader will also have sales representatives reporting to them and be responsible for hiring, coaching and motivating a hybrid team who split their time across account management and new business.
In addition to planning and implementing an on-going sales strategy for growth and leading a team, you will use your relationship, management and negotiation skills to grow our account base.

Key Responsibilities
* Team leadership and management
* Lead and manage a team of sales representatives (BDA, BDE and BDMs)
* Work with the Sales Director to establish a consistent coaching and training program that delivers improved results and provides career development for your team
* Responsible for strong pipeline management and forecasting to ensure that monthly and quarterly targets are achieved.
* Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quotas for regions and brands, projecting sales volumes and profit.
* Develop, implement and track both personal and team plans to maximise new business opportunities by developing sales to meet revenue targets.
* Ensure the development and implementation of Team annual sales plans based on analysing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
* Establish a strong team culture that motivates and inspires junior sales representatives
* Develop strong cross-organizational relationships with key stakeholders (editorial, content, marketing, finance, product, team leaders etc.)
* Be the recognized expert for your product within the business, supporting all members of the team, coaching and mentoring them when needed.
* Network with clients, attend industry events to build strategic relationships to enhance brand and opportunities for new business.
* Demonstrate in-depth product, market and sector knowledge of clients and competitors that is shared within the company to enhance client experience and product development.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* 3+ years B2B sales experience and a minimum of 2+ years of managing a sales team or sales person.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, in particular a highly professional telephone manner.
* Self-motivated and highly driven with a desire to exceed targets.
* Ability to work to targets and showcase resilience in challenging situations.
* Strong management skills with the ability to motivate team members, manage performance, and contribute to a culture of sales excellence.
* Proven track record in onboarding and coaching sales representatives.
* Strong time management skills - Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate where necessary.
* The ability to set and measure objectives and the means in place to ensure these are followed up on and met.
* Ability to forecast and report accurately in Salesforce.
* Highly enthusiastic and a ‘can do’ attitude.
