In this role, you will report to the Senior Planner and will work alongside an experienced Delivery Team. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reporting project schedules while assisting the senior planner in creating detailed schedules and maintaining planning control structures in accordance with the Work Breakdown Structure. Requiring a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, experience in scheduling, familiarity with Microsoft project and Primavera 6, and strong project management skills are key. Ad hoc travel to site(s) will be required, and the position offers flexibility, allowing the successful candidate to have a hybrid working arrangement based out of our Glasgow office. LI-Hybrid The Role You will ensure the accurate preparation, review, and reporting of project schedules and plans throughout their lifecycle, while supporting senior planning team members in developing detailed schedules that meet contractual and Wood's standards. You will be responsible for the supporting the creation and upkeep of planning control structures and baseline project plans in accordance with the approved Work Breakdown Structure, while monitoring project progress, coordinating with relevant functions, and preparing necessary reports and updates to ensure alignment with project requirements. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field (or equivalent experience) and demonstrated expertise in scheduling and planning. Working knowledge of the core principles of contracts, coupled with commercial project and cost management are essential. Proven experience of risk management processes and familiarity with software scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera are fundamental along with effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a valid driving license.
