Job description As a rapidly growing, forward thinking accountancy firm, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our ever expanding, young dynamic team. This role would suit an AAT qualified individual or someone in the initial stages of their ACCA/ACA qualification, looking to develop their career in accountancy and go on and finish their professional qualifications. With our new approach to accountancy and the environment we have created, the right individual will really excel in this role. We service a broad range of clients, many of whom are dynamic entrepreneurs operating in varying and exciting industry sectors. Key Skills • AAT qualified or studying ACCA/ACA. • Experience of working in a accountancy practice environment. • Experience with accounting software including IRIS, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Microsoft Office Suit. • Good verbal and written skills are essential. • 2-4 Years Experience. Key Responsibilities • Taking a lead in with clients bookkeeping and ensuring all bookkeeping is provided to a high level, including the completion of weekly/monthly/quarterly reconciliations. • Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts when required. • Assisting business clients with management information including performance information, cash-flow forecasts and budget planning. • Assisting with the completion of quarterly business reviews for our clients as required. The Details • Salary - £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience. • Holiday - 25 days plus bank holidays. • Pension - 10% combined pension. • Benefits - private medical scheme. • Social - regular team and business development events.
