Student Administration and Academic Affairs is one of the largest Professional Services departments in the University, comprising a diverse range of teams who share the same passion for enhancing our students' experiences.
We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to lead one of our busy Administration and Assessment (A&A) Teams in the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes a contributory pension scheme, a generous holiday allowance which increases with the length of service and a range of other benefits.

You will lead and manage the team to ensure effective and professional support for all processes. You will act as the team’s lead contact for the School’s academic staff and will work collegially with other Professional Services teams to implement the enhanced business processes that support each stage of the student lifecycle. You will work as part of the FELS leadership group that determines and drives improvement and effectiveness across the A&A functions.
You will have a high level of organisation and the adaptability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines, taking a positive approach to setting the standards for yourself and a busy team of administrators. You will have a proven ability to work cooperatively, proactively and imaginatively to enhance the service provided to stakeholders. Excellent communication, organisation and influencing skills are required, as is a commitment to providing an outstanding service both intelligently and with empathy. You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office and have experience in using complex databases to manipulate, interpret and report data.
