Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will be able to work at reception and be the first point of contact for our patients, whilst managing administrative tasks. They would also be able to work with our senior dentists, caring for our nervous patients and maintaining an orderly surgery. This role requires strong communication skills, a patient care focus, and the ability to work well in a friendly environment.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly and assist them from check-in to surgery welcome.
* Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar effectively.
* Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
* Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.
* Utilise SOE for record keeping and appointment scheduling.
* Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area and surgery.
Requirements
* Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Previous experience as a UK dental nurse is required.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* A background in patient care is advantageous.
* Familiarity with SOE and digital x-rays.
* A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding patient service.
