As Director, Marketing CSL Seqirus UK and Ireland you will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies for new and existing products in UK and Ireland. You will lead the team to implement marketing strategy in collaboration with Sales, Medical, and other functions. Lead cross-functional teams, to drive strategic plan, develop and execute the seasonal influenza marketing strategy and channel strategy for UK/Ireland to exceed the flu annual sales target. You will lead cross functional teams to drive new product launches through engaging internal and external stakeholders to achieve policy and reimbursement. Present UK and Ireland marketing strategy in Regional and Global forums. Strategic Marketing
Brand/portfolio strategic positioning
Input to global product strategy through participation in Global Brand Teams
Achieve full alignment around the brand strategy and execution with internal cross functional stakeholders.
Lead policy strategy development to protect market share and drive revenue growth. Building on Real world evidence insights to drive growth.
Drive new product launches and manage policy and pricing with cross functional engagement
In-depth knowledge of the UK Health environment, Influenza recommendations and policy (e.g. Oversee tender submissions to ensure high quality, cross functional approved responses.
Influenza clinical information knowledge of key clinical data, competitor’s product knowledge, apply knowledge to develop sound brand/portfolio strategy
Plan market research activities in line with strategic objectives
Pre- and post-marketing of new products
Operational Marketing
Support the UK and Ireland commercial operations to be successful exceeding sales budgets
Meet with key stakeholders to execute the Government Engagement plan with the Policy team, Medical and Country Head UK & Ireland.
Support Senior Brand Managers / Brand Managers to develop and execute robust brand/portfolio strategy and marketing mix to support the flu portfolio and ensure the timely provision of support material & campaigns
Drive pre-marketing and post-marketing activities.
Competitive intelligence regular update and integration in the portfolio and new launches strategy
Support Senior Brand Managers / Brand Managers in the development of brand strategy and key messages. Ensure consistency of the brand activities and tactics with the portfolio/brand strategy
Lead Brand Managers to execute the operational marketing activities
Develop the skills of Brand Managers and build talent to ensure a robust succession plan
Lead Brand Managers to produce and deliver promotional materials to required standard and timelines
Cross-Functional Collaboration for a flawless and successful execution of the marketing strategy
Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies, procedures, training and regulations e.g. Code of Practice, financial processes
Participate to all compliance training in line with timelines and ABPI Code of Practice requirements
University degree in science and/or degree in Business / Marketing
~10+ years marketing experience in pharmaceutical or relevant industry.
~ Strong commercial awareness
~ Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
~ Excellent prioritisation, planning and organisational skills
~ Willing to travel across the UK and internationally according to business needs
~ Required to be flexible in working hours
~ Microsoft office proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Standard
~ Holds a valid UK driving license
