Mitsubishi Chemical is one of the world's largest chemical producers, supplying a wide range of sectors from automotive and electronics to medical and sport. We take a global approach across all business areas to serve our customers worldwide in the most efficient and effective way.
As part of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group (MCG), we are passionate about sustainability and respect for the environment. These are key elements of a powerful concept that we call KAITEKI, and it's at the very heart of why we are in business. We are working on developing our processes to help us reduce our environmental footprint and make a difference to the local community wherever we are.
We are currently offering opportunities for Chemical or Process Engineering graduates to join us at our Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates Strategic Projects Group on Teesside, in the North East of England.
What's in it for you:
This is an opportunity to work alongside our experienced process engineers and the R&D team at Wilton. This will involve providing process engineering for exciting strategic projects to develop Methacrylates technology.
You will become a vital team member from day one and will be challenged and taken outside your comfort zone, but you will also be supported and trained every step of the way to ensure you become a well-rounded and competent chemical engineer.
Mentored by experienced colleagues and managers, you will have a personal development programme to ensure that you gain a breadth of knowledge in the early years of your career.
We believe that by being open, honest, and respectful with each other and working together as a team, we will be able to deliver our promises. If you thrive in a focused and collaborative environment, then Mitsubishi Chemical could be the company for you.
The skills we're looking for:
* You are due to graduate in 2025 with a master's degree in chemical or process engineering, expecting at least a 2:1.
* You are a passionate individual who wants to pursue their engineering career in the chemical industry.
* You are motivated and committed with a strong team ethic.
* You are able to demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability.
If you think this sounds like you, we can offer an exciting and challenging start to your career starting in September 2025.
What we offer:
With our strong value focus on releasing individual potential, you will have access to personal development as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.
If you would like the opportunity to join the global leader in methacrylates, we would be interested in hearing from you!
Application process:
Once you have submitted your CV using the link below, the first stage of our recruitment process is a video call interview to get to know more about you. If successful, you will be invited to an assessment centre which will be held in November at our North East location.
