As an Industry 4.0 Digital Factory Senior Manager, you are responsible for leading medium to large consulting teams to design and develop innovative, engaging Industry 4.0 based solutions. Specific responsibilities include:
* Unlocking new operational benefits for manufacturers enabled by Industry 4.0 Technologies. (e.g. Improved asset efficiency, Improved quality, reduced cost, Improved safety and sustainability).
* Leading engagements with Life Sciences clients to understand and interpret business challenges into functional design specifications, through to iterative rapid prototyping solutions.
* Managing a team of functional consultants to guide the successful design, development and implementation of solutions in line with implementation methodologies.
* Advising Solution Architects and liaising with developers to interpret business requirements and create the technical solution with them.
* Building and sustaining client relationships whilst identifying, leading and supporting potential sales opportunities.
* Development of thought leadership, represent Industry 4.0 Digital Factory expertise at forums and creating external eminence for Deloitte.
* Effectively leading diverse teams, enabling an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
* Bringing the expertise necessary to provide leadership and coaching of the team whilst broadening and enhancing our internal capabilities.
We need someone who is comfortable engaging with clients to understand their business problems and deliver solutions. We are looking for individuals with a natural propensity for problem solving, who recognise the mix of talents it takes to develop creative, impactful solutions and can balance them within a team., Experience of working in Digital Factory roles in one or more of the following industries - Energy, Resources and Industrials, Life Sciences & Health Care or Consumer Products industry sectors or equivalents.
* Experience of the management and development of client and internal stakeholder relationships.
* Strong team management experience.
* Manufacturing or Maintenance operations experience with an understanding of manufacturing automation systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES) and ISA95.
* Knowledge of capabilities within production management or maintenance processes, including supply chain operations.
* The ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to evaluate the emerging and changing business needs of our clients.
* A strong focus on working within diverse and remotely located teams.
* Professional working proficiency in the English language.
Preferred:
* Experience of working with one or more of the industry leading Industrial Internet of Things, Automation and Cloud platforms.
* Knowledge of best practices within lean operations and digital manufacturing.
