Human Resources, Finance and Premises Officer - Robertswood School
Location: Chalfont St Peter
The role will report to the School Business Manager and Head.
Term time only: 38 weeks a year. Additional 3 weeks to be paid for managing the supply phone.
Salary Type: Bucks pay
Salary details: Range 2 (Scale 11-15 depending on experience)
Contract type: Fixed until August 25, with view to permanent from Sept 25
Hours: 30 hours per week, timings to be discussed
Interviews to be held: Thursday 30th January - interviews may be conducted before the closing date on receipt of successful shortlisted candidates.
Holiday Entitlement: 5.4 weeks a year

This is an exciting opportunity to join Robertswood school. The admin team are the first port of call when visiting Robertswood School. We are looking for a cheerful, polite proactive individual to join our busy team. This is an essential role in the school to provide efficient administrative support to the whole staff team.
Key Duties:
1. General Duties:
Promote the welfare of children and support the school in safeguarding children.
Provide general secretarial support and admin/clerical support to the office team.
2. Human Resources:
Take responsibility for the entry of staff absence and attendance on a weekly basis.
Be available for staff as a point of contact in relation to reporting illness and absence for school, and to arrange and contact supply cover.
Be responsible for the timetabling of staff.
3. Finance:
Raise invoices termly for nursery, casual lettings, and breakfast club/after-school club.
Monitor monies received through Parentpay and chase outstanding debts.
Support the School Business Manager on all aspects of finance.
4. Premises:
Support the School Business Manager on all aspects of premises.
Contribute to premises policies and ensure compliance.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have school experience in an education setting.
Key Qualifications:
1. Support the ethos and vision of the school.
2. Work as part of the admin/office team.
3. Have an eye for detail.
4. Be experienced in Human Resources.
5. Have good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and other IT packages, FMS, SIMS, and Parentpay.
6. Be willing to be flexible to work within a strong school team.
7. Be a problem solver.
