Engineer/modify existing products to meet customer requirements. Provide advice and recommendations to other departments and customers to assist in solving potential problems and queries. Carry out other work as required according to Task request system. Input formulations into site MRP system. Make decisions regarding adjustment and release of production batches, raw material selection and substitution and modification of internal product specifications. Meet with suppliers to discuss new materials or problems with existing materials. Support quality department in resolution of customer complaints. Supports Industrialization in the establishment of manufacturing processes. Carry out daily responsibilities relating to EHS, 5S and any other company initiatives Competencies: Chemistry degree or equivalent is required IT literate. Experience of Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel The ideal candidate must be a strong team player and be able to get results by working with others Ability to prioritise, organise and able to work under pressure Good Communication skills Ability to formulate coatings (training will be provided) Ability to manage complex tasks and data PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
