The role:
Oxford High School is looking for an Admissions Officer to support our busy admissions team across the school.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to use your first-class organisational and administrative skills to play an important role in helping the smooth running of the department in a leading independent day school based in Oxford, recently awarded Independent Girls' School of the Year 2023.
Having excellent attention to detail and the ability to use your own initiative is key to being successful in this role, as is being able to maintain a high level of efficiency while working in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to multi-task, communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing), and work to tight deadlines. Proven experience in office administration and customer service is also required.
As an integral part of the Admissions team, you will support all aspects of the admissions process from enquiry to enrolment, including coordination and attendance at our recruitment and admissions events.
This role is about building relationships with prospective parents and pupils, making it ideal for someone with great interpersonal skills. You will be based in our senior school and will also work closely with staff in our prep school.
