Job summary Crisis Clinician working within the Sunderland and South Tyneside Crisis Team based at Hopewood Park. The Universal Crisis Team for Sunderland and South Tyneside are in a position to recruit and are therefore looking to recruit motivated and committed individuals. Sunderland and South Tyneside Crisis Team have 4 x Full Time Vacancies which will be based at Hopewood Park in Sunderland. The post holders will be part of a team working under the crisis model and pathway, offering a 24/7 service as an alternative to hospital admission. The successful candidate must have experience of working with individuals with a variety of mental health needs, and ideally have a track record of clinical experience in working with risk and complexity. The role requires sound clinical skills in all aspects of triage, assessment, formulation, management of risk and therapeutic interventions. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be expected to complete all aspects of Crisis work, including the triaging of referrals, completion of holistic and comprehensive assessments and the treatment of patients who are in mental health crisis within their home environment.
