Reporting directly to the VP, of Sales & Services for the UK & Ireland business, in this role you will lead and manage complex projects that resolve identified business needs and deliver project targets. Facilitate an effective and efficient project portfolio management tasking for business management. Coordinating and delivery of organisational change management across various projects within the business. The role will specifically focus on Project Management of key changes within the operations design function of a manufacturing site. Main Tasks – Project Manager. Safety All risk assessments are carried out and maintained. Project Management Responsible for managing, leading and delivering large and complex projects including multiple product lines. Lead project and functional management and project teams to achieve project objectives on schedule, quality, and to budget. Provide the main interface and maintain a confident relationship with the project owner, steering group, customer and other participants in the project. Responsible for ensuring all contractual and technical obligations are fulfilled. Establish and maintain a risk register for assigned projects. Ensure that all external and internal technical requirements are resolved before delivery. Deliver the project results as agreed with the steering group and identify opportunities and provide expertise to build resilience to change across the organisation Plan and coordinate all the activities during project execution, such as resourcing, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, installation and commissioning. Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle. Drive visible performance management, use KPIs to track progress, monitor actual performance versus plan promoting awareness to drive improvement. Responsible for tracking project tasks, creation of status reports, and delivery of same to the Operations team. Supports the review and update of functional requirement specification and process design documentation. Support data verification and ensure that all documents such as test reports, certificates, manuals and other necessary documents are ready before delivery. After the project delivery, ensure the ramp-up activities take place according to the plan. Operations Change Management and Delivery Implementing a strategy to support the adoption of the change management techniques within the business Assessing the change readiness of the operational team and identifying key stakeholders Creating change/project management plans for projects or change initiatives with particular emphasis on - compliance, training needs analysis, training plan, implementation tracking, communication and other associated change considerations. Developing change management processes and tools to support the integration and engagement with change management principles. Preparing impact analyses and evaluation of the actual impact of changes and analysing and preparing risk mitigation tactics and processes Close collaboration with key stakeholders to integrate change management activities into existing project plans Managing the input and output of the change management reporting system for projects Capturing data and defining and measuring success metrics Consulting and advising the Operations Director, Programme Manager and key stakeholders on change management Ensuring goals are met in areas including on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance. Productivity Promote & develop a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within operations. Identifying and eliminating root cause barriers to accuracy and productivity. What our client is looking for in a Project Manager. Education: Project Management qualifications e.g. PRINCE, PMI, Scrum, PMP, etc. Manufacturing operations background is highly desirable Lean/Six Sigma experience would be advantageous Experience: Experience as a Project Manager, managing end-to-end projects Proven in-depth project management experience using a variety of project management methodologies Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management and communications Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies and systems preferably within a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience identifying problems at an early stage and effectively solving problems Proven experience in working in project teams and implementing a change program of work Strong verbal and written communication capabilities Advanced project management skills Competencies: Excellent time management skills – a highly organised individual capable of prioritising their workload.
