Role: Accounts Assistant
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 30 hour week
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Location: Skelmersdale, WN8
Contract: Temp ongoing
Our client, a well-established Engineering Manufacturer in the Skelmersdale area, is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
Duties of an Accounts Assistant:
1. Investigate and resolve customer invoice queries in a timely manner
2. Process invoices accurately
3. Handle invoice and other related queries
4. Maintain accurate records
5. Process approved expenses where applicable
6. Generate monthly payment runs and foreign payments
7. Perform statement reconciliations
8. Complete ADHOC requests
Skills and Experience of the Successful Accounts Assistant:
1. Previous experience within a similar role
2. AAT qualification is desirable, although not essential
3. Attention to detail and experience of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
4. A good communicator who can work effectively
