Our PFI contract provides 128 different professional services on all aspects of Property Management for our client.
Position: Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance Lead
Based at Colchester Garrison, we are recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance Lead that will provide advice and support to the Service teams, in particular, Hard FM. You will undertake checks on health and safety practices/documentations both for internal and subcontractor works.
This is a busy and varied role where you will be working with a team of Auditors and HSE Professionals and be documenting health and safety audits and inspections ensuring compliance with required legislation and Sodexo policies and best practice.
You will also be managing HSE data on safety walks, safety observations, near misses, and accidents, and liaising with different departments to ensure data is accurate and compliant. You will be using Microsoft forms and Excel for analysing data and HSEQ systems and ensure all administrative tasks will need to be completed to deadlines and to a highly accurate standard.
Qualifications
You will ideally have:
* A NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
* IOSHH membership
* Extensive experience from a maintenance and construction background
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent IT skills
You will be keen, willing to learn, and have good organisation, communication skills, and high attention to detail. This is a fixed-site role, working Monday to Friday. Please note that this position will be offered subject to security clearance – this requires you to have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
