Growing demand from clients has led to an immediate requirement for an experienced Servo Technician with in-depth knowledge and experience of servo systems including DC systems and brushless systems.
Hours of work are 8am - 4.30pm Mon- Fri, with overtime available during busy periods.
Duties will include:
Inspection and testing of servomotors (pre-disassembly)
Disassembly of motors and feedback systems
Inspection and assessment of components
Fault diagnosis of servo motors
Assembly of servo motors, including setting and testing motor and feedback system.
Successful applicant will:
- Have a Full Driving License
- Have knowledge of electric motor theory and practice, including feedback devices
- Have knowledge of the use of servo motors
- Have experience with motor repairs and understanding of motor construction
- Have good communication and customer service skills
- Be flexible and a good team player with a focus on Quality-work
- Knowledge of PLCs, servo motors and drives would be an advantage but not essential
The role comes with a competitive £16.45 rate / hour and an OTE of £35,000+ pa (depending on overtime worked), together with company pension and 4 weeks holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 5 weeks after 2 years.
