This is a focused accounts and tax role – ideal for someone looking to progress their skills to the next level.
As well as exposure to accounts and tax preparation work, this role also involves assisting clients to ensure they are getting the most from their financial information in year rather than just seeing it as an annual process.

With our clients in a range of sectors, sizes, and experience in business, your awareness of various items is essential, and we can assist you to develop these further.
Skills that would be required:
* Experience working within practice accountancy.
* Experience with a range of accounting software.
* Awareness of a wide range of taxes and the associated compliance requirements, including VAT and CIS.
What would your day to day look like?
* Preparing and reviewing annual accounts up to trial balance from the source documents supplied, including both business and personal tax returns.
* Preparing management accounts for presentation to clients.
* Compilation and submission of VAT returns in a timely manner.
* Compilation and submission of CIS returns.
* Helping other team members and taking part in developing trainees.
Location of the role: Our Swindon office is preferred although our Calne office can be an option.
