National Accounts & Frameworks Manager (m/f/d)
The purpose of this NEW Business Development Manager role is to develop sales of our residential product portfolio; predominantly within the National New Build and Social Housing channels. The role will require a heavy focus on completing framework and tender submissions; as well as liaising with key decision makers; building long term partnerships and securing specification of Carrier RLC products and value added services.
Field based and reporting to the Head of Key Accounts & Strategic Partnerships, the role will work in a cross functional and collaborative way with the existing Residential and Commercial sales teams providing support to develop sales within the existing customer base. In addition to this we also look to grow our portfolio of sales, securing new business with new customers within the residential specification channels.
As National Accounts & Frameworks Manager, you'll be responsible for:
1. Completing Public & Private Sector Supply Chain Frameworks
2. Supporting key decision makers at some of the UK's leading Social Housing Providers
3. Working with senior housing contacts across the Top 30 UK Housebuilders
4. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and how Carrier RLC Products and Services can support their Net Zero targets
5. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
6. Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
7. Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
8. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
9. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. A full understanding of the specification process and route to market - the ideal candidate should be able to network from senior decision makers to business influences across the market channels and various customer types
2. Expert market knowledge of the heating and heat pump sector, gained from experience in manufacturing sales
3. Proven work experience as key account manager or pricing / framework manager with a good success rating
4. Excellent communication and motivational skills
5. Self-motivated, target orientated, proactive in approach with solid commercial acumen
6. An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics
7. Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
8. Strong communication skills
9. A "can do", solution-focussed outlook
10. Experienced with presentations, reports & managing budgets and able to conduct meetings
11. Self-starter, people person and relationship builder
12. Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
13. Full UK Driving License
14. Willing to travel nationally throughout the UK, Wales & Scotland
15. Experience of working within a fast moving and dynamic environment
16. Competitor knowledge
17. Successful sales experience in a similar field
18. Knowledge of CRM software and Google
