Job overview
We are excited to advertise a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Lead post on Rose Lodge where there will be opportunities to work both as part of a team and independently using initiative. Continuous development and training is advocated and supported for the team and its leadership team.
The Clinical Nurse Lead will participate in collaborative working with patients, carers, and the MDT and community services to facilitate high standards of individualised patient care and progression to successful discharges. They will receive and deliver clinical supervision, appraisals, and training opportunities to support in achieving high standards of care.
Main duties of the job
Rose Lodge is a learning disability specialist assessment and treatment inpatient unit based in Hebburn, South Tyneside. The Clinical Nurse Lead will work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs-based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within an inpatient setting.
* Act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.
* Facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence-based care and treatment.
* Be visible and accessible to patients, families, and carers to ensure efficient, effective, and caring services.

Education and Qualification
* ENB 998 / P126/127 or equivalent.
* Leadership Experience
Knowledge and Experience
* Post registration clinical experience.
* 12 to 24 months of band 5 qualified nurse experience dependent upon service need.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Change Management.
