Job summary Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Rheumatology with a specialist interest in autoimmune Connective Tissue Disease (10PA) at Addenbrooke's Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Main duties of the job The appointee will undertake five rheumatology outpatient clinics per week and will participate in the on-call rota 1:6. The appointee will also be expected to participate in educational and management audit as well as teaching junior doctors and medical students. Addenbrooke's is the lead Trust for the Eastern Network of Rare Autoimmune Disease (ENRAD) and the post-holder will be involved in network activities. There is an active research portfolio and a well-established clinical trials unit. There will opportunities to participate in research but this will need to be negotiated separately.Candidate will need to be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Rheumatology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.
