The role You will be working within the Development & Test Facilities team, contributing to performance and reliability validation for all our products through operating in-house test rigs and equipment, and conducting maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities: Carry out component testing duties using a variety of test equipment. Installation and removal of the unit under test components, instrumentation and data logging equipment in a safe manner. Carry out testing duties at any of the company’s Milton Keynes based sites during periods of high workload. Running of test programs to ensure they are completed efficiently and right first time. Undertake initial analysis and interpretation of test data and report appropriately to internal stakeholders. Follow our Test Request system for workload priorities, test configurations and data storage. Carry out preventative maintenance and equipment calibration tasks to maintain ISO17025/ IATF16949 standards and maintain highest practical level of operational efficiency. Assist with rig fault detection and pro-actively work on robust resolutions with wider test system team. Follow Electrical Safety Management System (ESMS) practises when working with High Voltage Systems and be internally level 2 qualified. Demonstrate a positive Health and Safety culture in all testing activities Champion a 6S working environment across the test function Any other tasks that are reasonably assigned to you by your line manager, including development activities, which are within your capability and grade Required Education and Industry Experience Capable of testing equipment operation and maintenance using in-house test equipment with experience in an engineering environment, ideally for Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport ONC, HNC or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline Required Technical Skills and attributes Experience in a similar role Ability to deliver high-quality work with minimum supervision Good punctuality and time management skills Exhibit good planning and organisational skills Working knowledge of MS Office products We are looking for people who are collaborative, enthusiastic, innovative & accountable who want to make a difference.
