If you are a skilled PARAPLANNER based in Cambridge, I can share with you a great office opportunity. You will need to be skilled and Diploma qualified as a minimum. The role is to support the Chartered Financial Planners in dealing with our clients, providing holistic financial planning including areas such as Pensions, Investments, Protection, and non-mainstream investments. There could be 2 remote days after around half a year of joining the company.
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Collect and collate information and data about (and from) the client in accordance with the principles of ‘know your client’ and the firm’s policies.
2. Ensure all compliance documentation is present and correct.
3. Collaborate with Chartered Financial Planner in connection with developing a comprehensive financial plan and strategy to meet the client needs and objectives.
4. Undertake comparative research including completing calculations (i.e. income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Chargeable Gains, Cashflow modelling).
5. Prepare suitability report and recommendations.
6. Draft documentation as necessary - application forms.
7. Case management oversight of new business from the issue of suitability report to conclusion (new business process completed and monies, where relevant, correctly invested).

* Knowledge of cashflow modelling.
* Proficient in the company's systems (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Voyant Cashflow modelling.
* CURO back-office system.
* AJB Custody solutions (Figaro).
Experience:
Experience of working in a busy and dynamic office environment.
Qualifications & Training required for this role:
CII Level 4 or equivalent. Develop professional qualifications in line with the requirements of the role specifically and the firm’s needs more generally. Willingness to achieve and maintain a level of competence as required by the business.
Complete all training prescribed by the firm within the timescales given. Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately. Adhere to compliance requirements and procedures as guided by Risk Management and the Financial Conduct Authority regulator (FCA).
