Accounts Assistant for Online Mobile Phone Company - Part Time, Permanent
We are seeking someone to maintain our bookkeeping and general accounting, including posting transactions to our ledgers using QuickBooks accounting software.
The ideal candidate will be diligent, tenacious, and possess a keen eye for detail.
Duties Include:
* Making customer and client order payments with suppliers.
* Managing refunds from suppliers for returned stock.
* Recording expenses of staff and company purchases.
* General admin and recording and chasing of bad debts.
* Credit control within all realms of the business.
* Bank statement reviews.
* Working with VAT transactions.
* Raising invoices for both client and customer needs.
* Chasing VAT invoices from vendors.
* Performing monthly profit calculations for the business.
* Other general admin/accounts and PA duties may apply.
Previous experience in an admin or accounting-related role would be advantageous, but company training will be provided.
Experience:
* Accounts assistant: 1 year (preferred)
* Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
* Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
* Self Assessment: 1 year (preferred)
Part Time Role: Mon, Tue, Thu - 08:45 - 17:00
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
