Key Responsibilities as the Child Psychologist / Clinical Supervisor Leadership & Supervision: Reporting to the Head of Service with dedicated time for supervisory duties, including individual and group supervision of Education Mental Health Practitioners. Direct Intervention: Deliver evidence-based interventions directly to children, young people, and their families, both individually and in groups. Whole-School Support: Provide comprehensive mental health support to school staff and the broader community, including training, projects, and borough-wide campaigns. Collaborative Service Delivery: Work alongside a team of Educational Psychologists, offering a consultation model that values a systemic and relational approach. Your experience as a Child Psychologist / Clinical Supervisor Qualifications: Relevant qualification and experience as a Psychotherapist, Education/Child Psychologist, Family Therapist, or Social Worker within Child Mental Health (UKCP, BACP, HCPC). Leadership Potential: While experience in a clinical setting is essential, previous leadership experience is highly valued but not essential as full support and training will be provided. Commitment to Growth: Opportunity to complete a postgraduate diploma in Children and Young People’s Mental Health Supervision if you don't already hold it.
