Job summary Are you an experienced and motivated technician looking for a new challenge in Aseptic Services. We are seeking a dedicated Band 7 Technician Team Leader to join our dynamic team Aseptic Team at Worthing and St. Richard's Hospitals. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and quality control of aseptic products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of skilled technicians, Science Manufacturing Technicians (SMTs) and assistants. Main duties of the job Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aseptic services unit, including the preparation, compounding and dispensing of aseptic products within the Aseptic Units at Worthing and St. Richard's Hospitals. Ensure that all aseptic preparations meet the highest standard of quality and safety. Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), section 10 and other relevant regulatory guidelines. Lead and supervise a team of technicians, SMTs and assistant, providing training, support, and performance evaluations. Coordinate with service users and other healthcare professionals to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of aseptic services. Monitor and mange inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
